Dr. McNaughton received her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science-Biology, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in May of 2006. Subsequently, she gained experience in primary care optometry and ocular disease, participating in co-management of surgical and medical patients at the Washington University (Saint Louis) Eye Center. Additionally, while at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., Dr. McNaughton participated in co-management of surgical and medical patients with an emphasis on those with glaucoma and diabetic eye diseases.
