Sabates Eye Centers provides access to Patient Portal, a valuable service from PXP MedFusion that you can use to eliminate time-consuming phone calls and enable online access to our office. When it’s not an emergency but you need answers to your questions, give Patient Portal a try.
What You Can Do
Patient Portal contains a wealth of general health information, along with patient-specific communications from our practice. Patients love the ability to:
- Access and request personal or general information
- Request or confirm a non-urgent appointment
- Request medication refills
- Receive important documents and notifications from your doctor to help manage your condition
- Fill out forms and previsit questionnaires
- Receive Contact Lens and Glasses Prescriptions
All requests or questions are answered within 24 hours. For urgent issues, please call our office.
It Stays Private
Unlike emails that use multiple servers over the Internet, Patient Portal technology employs a single server secured by both a firewall and 128-bit encryption to safeguard your privacy. This is the same type of security that banks use for their online banking.
It’s easy! Simply call our scheduling department at 913-261-2020 and a member of our staff will walk you through the process. You’ll receive a pass-code via email, which you can use to activate your account at pxpportal.nextgen.com. No health information is ever sent via email. You receive an email stating you have a new message from Sabates Eye Centers and are directed to log in to Patient Portal to review.
