Matthew Fry, M.D., is a fellow at University of Missouri – Kansas City and is excited and humbled by the opportunity to provide excellent patient care while learning from leaders in the field at Sabates Eye Centers.
Hailing from Ohio, Dr. Fry is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and recently completed his residency training at the University of Cincinnati. Initially inspired to pursue ophthalmology by his mentors in ocular oncology, his interests quickly expanded to retina after discovering the incredible scope of surgery and pathology within the field.
As the oldest of six, he values spending quality time with his family, including their two golden retrievers, Ryder and Rudy. In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading a good book, and cheering on the Bengals to victory.
