Jessica Sawyer, O.D., is an optometrist at Sabates Eye Centers, serving patients in Independence, MO. Dr. Sawyer provides optical care to her patients in the Kansas City area.
Dr. Sawyer is a proud Kansas native, born and raised in Wichita. She earned her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Arizona College of Optometry.
Dr. Sawyer developed a strong interest in eye care as early as high school and has since cultivated a well-rounded background in the field. Throughout her optometric education, she trained in a variety of clinical settings across the country, gaining broad exposure to all aspects of eye care. Her clinical experiences led to a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease.
Dr. Sawyer is known for her compassionate approach and patient-centered care. She is dedicated to improving the vision and well-being of every patient she sees. She is excited to be back near her roots and to serve the Kansas City metro community as part of the Sabates Eye Centers team.
